With a lowered bottom bracket, longer chainstays and a slacker headtube angle, the 2018 Cervélo C3 gives the rider an advanced ride across mixed surfaces. The altered geometry puts the centre of gravity lower than what would be found on a typical road bike. This, coupled with the option to fit up to 32 mm wide tyres and disc brakes as standard, makes the perfect bike for riding across a range of surfaces and for long days in the saddle.
Through research and development Cervélo has engineered a bike that is stacked full of features that add to its overall ,distinct, character. For example a single piece rear triangle, widened seatstays, through-axles and Cervélos’ own BBright system all add to lateral stiffness and enhanced stiffness through the bottom-bracket area. In addition to this Cervélo has added other features to the frameset such as carbon dropouts, adaptable internal cable routing and Squoval cross sections within the frame. The result is the exceptional 2018 Cervélo C range.
The Cervélo C3 has reliable componentry such as Mavic Aksium Allroad Disc CL wheels, Continental Grand Sport Race 28c tyres and a FI’ZI:K Antares VS Saddle. These all add to the feel of the bike. In addition to this the Cervelo C3 Is available with Shimano Ultegra. This provides the option for a mechanical or Di2 groupset.
