At 780gr*, Bianchi Specialissima frame changes the game in the ultralight frame category thanks to the use of MSC’s patented Countervail® integrated vibration cancelling system for cycling, developed for NASA by Materials Sciences Corporation. The new Bianchi’s Countervail® ultralight carbon formula is specifically tuned to smooth out the inherent nervousness of ultralight frames.

COLORS AND PAINT SCHEME

With Bianchi’s Specialissima debuts the new edition of Celeste Bianchi color. Its name is CK16. The frame is recognizable for it minimal design and is also available in natural carbon matt with CK16 glossy paint logos.

 

Graphics and logos are completely hand painted in Italy. Bianchi offers the possibility to choose the favorite paint scheme from various color options at www.bianchi.com/tavolozza.

GEOMETRIES

Relevant feature of the Specialissima is the proven Racing Geometry made in Bianchi. The chassis guarantees optimal bike fitting and a riding position for the most efficient power transmission. The frame is available in 7 size from 47 to 61 cm.

 

TECHNICAL FEATURES

-Specialissima uses a ultralight and rigid monocoque carbon frame (HM fibers) with Countervail® material. PressFit 86.5x41mm is the choice for the bottom bracket area, while the seat post diameter is 27.2mm.

-Tapered headtube 1.1/8″>1.4″ for rigidity improvement and weigth reduction. Frontal head tube area inspired to the super aero AquilaCV’s profiles. Internal cable routing with double compatibility mechanical and electronic Eps/Di2 shifting.

-Dropout with metallic inserts

-Full carbon fork with Countervail® material. Crown has a integrated design for perfect head tube and down tube connection. Straight blades and the dedicated design improves reactivity of the entire bike.The complete weight of the frame is 340 grams.
